What we collect

When you submit the estimate form we collect the name, phone number, email address, service selection and message you type into it. If you call or text us, we have your phone number. That’s the whole list — we don’t ask for payment details, and there are no accounts to create.

The form also includes a hidden checkbox that a person never sees. Automated submissions that tick it are blocked by Web3Forms. It is not used to identify you.

How we use it

To reply to you about the project you asked about, and to schedule and complete the work if you hire us. We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we don’t add you to a marketing list you didn’t ask for.

Text messages

If you call DS HomeTech and the call is not answered, an automated text is sent back to the number you called from, asking what you need. If you tick the optional text box on the estimate form, you may get a text confirming your request arrived and texts about your quote and scheduling. After a finished job you may get one text asking for a review. That is the whole program: service messages about your own enquiry or your own job, never marketing.

Message frequency varies and depends on what you contact us about. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them, and HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. The full terms are on our terms page.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent is not shared with any third party.

Who else sees it

These services process data on our behalf:

• Web3Forms delivers form submissions to our inbox. Your submission passes through their service on the way to us.
• Our customer records system keeps your enquiry with our job records and sends the text messages described above. It is run for us by the company that built this website, only to serve our own customers.
• Google Analytics tells us how many people visit which pages and which buttons get used. It is configured to record that a form was submitted or a call was started — never the contents of your message, your name, or your email address.

Cookies and analytics

Google Analytics sets cookies to count visits. If you would rather not be counted, browser-level tracking protection or an ad blocker will stop it, and the site works exactly the same either way — nothing on it depends on analytics loading.

Keeping and removing your information

Enquiries live in our email inbox and job records for as long as we need them to service the work and keep our own records. If you want us to delete what we hold about you, call or email and we will, unless we’re required to keep something for tax or warranty reasons.

Children

This is a home-services site intended for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
